For those people who would like direction to get to Falconara Albanese, we have incorporated direction, and are as follows town directions to Falconara: should you wish to visit Falconara Albanese click the Map. The route in red indicates the trunk road SS 18, which links the costal towns to the Tyrrhenian Coast. Taking the costal route to go to Falconara, drive along the SS 18 to the crossroads at Torremezzo Sud of Falconara Albanese, and follow signs to Falconara Albanese. Approaching from Cosenza, follow signs for "Crocetta" (this is the old road linking Cosenza to Paola). Drive along this road for about 10 Km in the direction of Paola until you come to a tee junction signposted Falconara - San Lucido, follow this route.
Falconara is a small town of some 1500 inhabitants, a distance of about 34 Km from Cosenza (Cosenza being the Province) and stretches for about 18.77 Km², at the altitude of 634 metres. It borders with Marano Principato to the East, the Tyrrhenian Sea to the West and Fiumefreddo Bruzio to the South (the boundary mark is a river called Flaviano or Fabiano) and San Lucido in the North.
